Developing Successful Marketing and Public Awareness Campaigns for Government Organizations

Session Details

  • Date: Tuesday, June 30
  • Time: 8:30 - 9:15 am
  • Room: 355

To address challenges of and solutions for marketing and public awareness campaigns on behalf of government organizations, we will use case studies from various state agencies and their initiatives to assess strategy and development.

Often government-related campaigns do not have a specific call-to-action, therefore traditional ROI and conversion measurements may not be achievable. However, in the current new media environment, various alternative engagement indicators exist.

We will address the following:

  • Creative asset creation and dissemination
  • Developing targeted content
  • Traditional and new media mix
  • Using social media to improve PR
  • Measurement tools and analytics
