What is HighEdWeb New England?

HighEdWeb New England is a regional conference for web professionals within higher education, encompassing a range of positions from systems and programming to marketing and communications, and anywhere in between. The HighEdWeb organization hosts an annual conference in October, and this is a smaller, shorter conference to attract attendees in the New England region and surrounding area. The HighEdWeb Association’s mission is: “To advance Web professionals, technologies, and standards in higher education.”

#hewebNE 2014 was sponsored by the Higher Education Web Professionals Association and Johnson & Wales University, Providence.

Absolutely! Presenters and attendees for past HighEdWeb conferences come from public and private universities of all sizes, are housed in a great variety of departments, and hold diverse titles such as web developer, marketing coordinator, programmer/analyst, graphic designer, director of web communications, information services librarian and beyond. If you work in higher education and work with the web, this conference is for you.

Yes! We enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and social time at Trinity Brewhouse from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
