It will cover:<\/p>\n<p>How to recruit and screen participants for one-on-one user tests<br \/>\nCollecting, analyzing and reporting on qualitative and quantitative data<br \/>\nHow to test your new designs for usability tests<br \/>\nAn introduction to the Think Aloud approach<br \/>\nUsing online user testing tools<br \/>\nHow to control and conduct an A\/B test<br \/>\nDeveloping actionable user priorities<\/p>\n<p>The session will walk through the process and provide sample questions, surveys and reports.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will learn how to make incremental improvements to their website or prepare for a website redesign using a data-driven approach.<\/p>\n<p>The session will include:<br \/>\nIntroduction to User Research<br \/>\nUser research is not a focus group<br \/>\nWhy online surveys are good, but not enough<br \/>\nHow to ask non-leading questions<br \/>\nTechniques for prioritization<br \/>\nRecruiting for a one-on-one user test<br \/>\nDeveloping a pre-screening survey<br \/>\nSetting up your &#8220;research lab&#8221;<br \/>\nWriting a test plan<br \/>\nContent tests vs. design tests vs. information architecture<br \/>\nTools for recording your test \u2013 UserTesting.com or Silverback<br \/>\nHow to analyze your results<\/p>\n<p>The benefit of conducting these tests is that marketing teams can make data-driven decisions.
