Ithaca is…HighEdWeb!
In Ithaca’s higher education web community, everyone is part of the same small world. The community thrives in part because each institution (Cornell University, Ithaca College, SUNY Cortland, SUNY Tompkins Cortland Community College, and others) works to promote productive inclusion, bridging the gap between campuses to create web ideas and achievements that advance the mission of higher education locally, regionally, and beyond. To continue this momentum requires an open, collaborative environment—a diverse collective of web professionals sharing their understanding and experience.
We would like to invite our HighEdWeb colleagues to Ithaca in 2015 to learn from the knowledge we’ve gained as a hub of the higher education community in New York and the Northeast. As part of a region with some of the best higher education web talent to be found, we’ve discovered innovative developments, evolved tired processes, and made great strides toward the future of web in higher education. Join us as we celebrate 150 years of Ithaca’s place in higher education history and share our ideas for the next phase of HighEdWeb.
